Car heater smells like gasoline when turned on on 2000 Honda Accord

In the morning, when I first turn on the engine, I turn on my car heater. However, when I start driving, I begin to smell gasoline inside my car. When I turn off my heater, the smell goes away.

any gas smell should be tracked down asap!it wont have anything to do with the heater.when you turn the heater on your letting outside air in and your smelling fumes that have built up overnight in the engine compartment.

I think this answer is kinda stupid. If car sits over nite, gas fumes would have been gone by morning unless theres a leak that needs to be fixed. DO YOU AGREE
