The Honda is a light car the shocks depending on your driving habits last 100k. I like KYB for performance/cost. Also check the trailing arm bushings they wear out!

its YOU again!! dont know exact milage; over 100k. i drive the car *hard..i suppose thats one way of putting it...very fun car to drive/esp since its a manual. handles very well. i dont notice that the ride is a bit rough, but have had passengers mention it. so, i ask the mechanic to check the shocks and the arm bushings, yes? dont think there is a kyb near me. *i dont ride the clutch, break hard ..and i do check the cars fluids and maintain correct tire presure. think she has over 135k miles.. probably time for some new shocks..ty again.
