For the last few weeks a couple of times, when I went to start my car it would make a grinding sound. I would shut it and it would restart fine. It happened today but then after shutting my car and trying to restart it makes the grinding noise and now it doesn't start.

In most cases you are hearing the bendix gear from the starter contacting the fly wheel incorrectly. Basically if it will not start, it will need to be towed. From there an inspection of the starter will determine it the flywheel or starter need to be replaced. We would be happy to check the car Free of charge if you can get it to us.
