2005 Ford Focus Q&A
2005 Ford Focus Question: Car door lock
take the door panel off to inspect.could be somthing simple you can do yourself. - shadetreeauto
The previous answer is correct, you will probably be able to fix it yourself, may be as simple as a $2 plastic clip on the linkage that has failed. The inner door trim panel will have to be removed to inspect the door locking mechanism and linkages to see what the problem is. Removing the door trim may be tricky and easy to damage trim that is expensive to replace if damaged! You would need illustrated instructions so as not to damage the trim.
