car does not start on 1997 Pontiac Bonneville

it has been determined the computer does not turn on fuel pump. what would cause that?

A theft system problem can disable the fuel pump. You could have a fuse, relay, or wiring problem. Lastly the computer could be at fault but I would go there last.
