I trust the guy that runs the place. The repairs were done effectively.
I felt that they changed ownership. I felt the man who serviced my car was deceptive. He tried to up sell me products I did not need. He also installed spark plugs that were not recommended for my cars make and model. I had a friend who is also a mechanic look at my car and he told me I got ripped off.
They are very good, but have changed hands many times. We like them but not as much as we used to.
For Japanese manufactured cars, the Car Doctor in Merrifield, VA is the only independent shop to consider. Their staff is friendly, helpful and honest. They are eager and willing to explain all repairs and will only repair if they foresee potential problems before next servicing. We have driven our cars for 150k miles, and the Car Doctor has been the reason why we were able to attain such mileage. Of course, regular servicings are the secret to auto longevity, but we would never take our cars any other place. They will also refer out to other reputable specialized shops for say, transmission work, and we have been pleased with their referrals.
I think they are very professional. They go out of their way to do the best job for you. They are very communicative about the job they are doing and why. They are experts at what they do. They don't claim to do things they don't know how to do. They won't tell you they can fix something if they can't. They are expensive, but they are fair. I don't recommend many car shops, but these guys are great.
I am happy with the service and the way they treat people and the quality of the service. They are nice people and friendly. They have a personal, and quality approach. Price is reasonable as well.
They are friendly and honest. They have a good reputation and I have been a customer there for a long time.
The work is done well, the prices are reasonable, and the customer service is excellent. Everything that had to be done was explained and the cost estimate was accurate.
When I go to Car Doctor, they add things I don't need.
I don't give anybody a perfect score. I have been using them for 15 years. I am taking my car there next week to get serviced.
This is a good shop to go to for Honda service.
I have been going to the Car Doctor since I started driving (that was 30 years ago!). My parents took their Hondas before me. And although I was sad to see the management change over each time (3 times over that period), I still feel confident in the quality of service and the personal attention I have received.
They do very good work and they are honest. They pay attention to detail. They don't do unnecessary work. I have been going there for years and I think they have saved me thousands of dollars. Sometimes I go to them for a second opinion and they have also saved me money that way.
We've gone to them for 17 years and found them to be trustworthy, reliable, and fairly priced.
We have been getting our car fixed for years. They are very good and very honest. They know when they can do it and when they can't and they tell us. They're good hardworking people. Knowledgeable with excellent referrals too.
I trust them. They were good and did what they said they were going to do. I felt comfortable with them. They were also highly recommended on Click and Clack's radio website.
They always provide excellent service. They tell you what needs to be done, what should be done, and what doesn't need to be done.
They have always been honest, with fair prices. They are thorough and if it's a job they can't do, they recommend someone. I have always been very happy with them. I feel very comfortable with their level of competency.
They serviced all of my cars for years and have done a good job. They try to start with the least expensive repairs before jumping into something that will be major.
The shop is under new management and they suggested with the last repair, some work that was really not needed. I declined the extra work. They did the work needed satisfactorily. The shop has a very different vibe under new management.
