Question: Car dies when comming to a stop or while driving

My car started to surge and when I gave it more gas it continued on-- but later if you were going to stop --it justs dies before you stop completely --only way to keep it from doing this is to put it in park and give it gas. It has my repair man stumped. Car only does this when the motor gets hot-- not when cold--can go about 20 miles--it always starts back up but will continue to die several times. Spark plugs are fine all sensors ck out ok???

I think the first thing I'd check is the fuel pressure while driving with a test gauge attached to the fuel system. I suspect the fuel filter's plugged or the fuel pump is failing. I'd check spark quality too.
You need to find an Infiniti or Nissan expert to diagnose the car. It shouldn't be too hard for an experienced Infiniti technician to give you a diagnosis.

I have replaced the fuel filter and the fuel pressure checks out ok- ---I have put in a fuel stablizor and octane booster also. My repair man works for Collins Nissan ??? Plugs are all fine ck. that out also have about 45000 miles on 100,000 mile plugs. Repair man has had car for a week now---I want my ride back.
