1996 Dodge Intrepid Question: car died while driving
If a battery loses one of its six cells it will only have a little over 10 volts because each cell produces a little over 2 volts per cell and that's how a 12 volt battery gets appox 13 volts, So it will still light the lights and radio but won't have the amps needed to engage the starter or power up the ignition.
