Today I was driving my car and all of a sudden it died. When I say it died I mean the brake wouldn't depress the steering wheel barely turned, and all the lights turned off, and the check oil light came on..I was thinking it might have been something electrical but my window rolled down. When i finally got it parked i turned the key off and when i went to turn the car on again it started just fine and drove home just fine. I am scared though to drive again for fear if this happens again when I am in a heavily congested area. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check for any codes in your computer. it sounds like an ignition problem such as a defective ignition module or a defective pick up coil in the distributor, which can happen on a GM car of this year. If there are no codes, I first look at the Ignition Module.
