Question: car cut off will not start code p1189 comes up

 Rookie

car cut off on freeway got a tow it wont state engine wont rotate wont take jump p1189 is the code and will that code stop it from starting

    dont see any code 1189. do you have the right numbers?? could you re check and verify??

    P1189, Engine oil pressure switch fault
    System test with key on engine off- Oil pressure detected (open circuit) when a closed circuit was expected
