What would be the cause for a 1996 seville to cut off while driving with no warning and then start right back up?

    there are a lot of things that could cause this such as loss of fuel pressure, bad battery connection, etc.. but as a place to start hold the OFF & Warmer adjustment buttons on your climate control. All the dash lights will flash & then it will display any stored trouble codes in the info display under speedo. write these down & repost to try & narrow your search. you can use the climate control buttons on this car to read & clear trouble codes, check sensor data, & even substitute good values for bad ones.

    Just happened to me - EGR Valve . $500 repair bill. :(
