Question: car bounces after brake job, new tires

It rode fine before the brake job and new tires, now it bounces over the smallest dip in the road.

    Check that the new tires are not grossly over inflated. The tire pressures should be in your owners hand book but should be approximately 29psi front and rear.

    They are telling me that the stress of lifting the car was too much for these 10 year old struts. They offered to pay for two of them, and only charged me 275. to replace two of them.

    Sounds strange that the shocks would fail after the car being lifted in the air to do the brake job and tire replacement but I hope all is well after the shocks have been replaced.
