 Rookie

my car started over heating and shut down so i parked it and its been sitting for about a year and a half.The battery was taken out of it and now with a different battery in it i cant get the alarm to shut off.I have tried the key in the door as well as the egnition and my key buttens dont work even with a new battery but the red light on it lights up.Is there a fuse or reset butten or any other way to get it off?
