2005 Ford Crown Victoria Question: Can't get out of park

Start by checking ALL fuses! Look to see if brake lights work. When helper pushes pedal!!! -

replacedone blown fuse and inspected switch on break pedal, all seems to be ok but still can't get out of park -

Repair brake light circuit or replace the switch. Did that fuse blow again? Brake light switch has to work before it will come out of park!! Fix the brake lights,, you have fixed the shifter problem!! -
