   Master

  The shifter interlock is controlled by the brake light circuit. Make sure your brake lights are operational first. I have seen the brake light switch and the wires leading into the switch fail causing this concern.

  If you look at the gear shift there is a small opening for a hole next to it..if you get a screw driver and lift the cover for the hole you can stick the screw driver or the end of a comb in to the hole and over ride the gear shift then you should be able to get it to shift

• car wont shift out of park
