 Rookie

I Cannot Unlock my driver seat door on single twist with the key, when i twist it for second time all the doors open. i can lock it without any problems. I don't have any problems locking/unlocking it with the remote. when i press it once it opens the driver seat door and twice opens all..

I wouldn't have bothered about it but my car alarm goes off now and then, even when people try to move their car next to mine... I took it to a guy who installs car alarms and he said that because you are unable to unlock the door with the key the car doesn't know whether it's locked/unlocked and that's the reason alarm goes off and Finally he suggested that there might be a problem with a car door sensor and asked me to take it to the dealer... I don't want to take it to the dealer without few more suggestions.... knowing that dealer can easily rip me off with his prices
