Can the oil pan be pulled off a 2001 BMW 330 without having to pull the engine? on 2001 BMW 330i

I am looking to buy a used BMW that will need rod and main bearings replaced and the oil pump and I am curious if this can be done by pulling the oil pan off and not having to pull the engine. Thanks
