1991 Isuzu Amigo Question: can the intake and the head come out of the car as one unit?

seems it would be easier to separate the head from the intake on the bench instead of fighting it in the car. can the intake and head come out of the car as one unit? thanks.

    Looking up the labor times for intake manifold gasket vs labor to remove cylinder head, the labor is greater to remove the intake manifold which is confusing, (implies take off head and manifold together). There is a company that independent auto repair shops get their information from, this same information is available inexpensively for people that work on their own cars.. The information is year make and model specific, covering repair procedures, torque specifications, fluid capacities and specifications, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect....
