2001 Honda Prelude

 

Question: can not get the harmonic balancer bolt loose. What direction are the threads.

    It is a right handed thread, however they make a special tool to hold the balancer still while loosening the center bolt. that is put on a very high torque. Tool may be available at local auto parts store loaner tool program call them to be sure.

    Definitely need a high torque impact gun to get that bolt loose or lots of meat and potatoes applied to the end of a
    4 foot breaker bar.
