I'm thinking of buying a land rover 2003 for $1500. Its a beautiful truck an I'm pretty good with working on my own vehicles but never messed with transmissions. Just wondering if it can be put into low or high gear an then just driving without trying to use 4 wheel drive
Can I still drive with a bad transfer case? on 2003 Land Rover Discovery

Not sure what you're asking. The four wheel drive is full time on a Discovery. Do you have only 4 low or 4 high? Remember 4 low is low range and you will very speed limited. You can remove the front driveshaft if you want only 2 wheel drive but its not a good option.
