1999 Mercedes-Benz ML320 Question: Can I replace the crankshaft starter position sensor myself or let a shop do it?

 Rookie

vehiclle will die after 10 minutes of operation and not start for about an hour, then dies again.

    It would be best for a diagnostic technician to confirm the repair and then also repair it. It will take about an hour to relace the crank position sensor. This part is not very expensive, but if you have to guess on repairs, they could start adding up.
