    I have asked our customers that have fitted KNN or similar filters if they saw a difference in MPG, known noticed a difference. They do require periodic maintainence. I have them on my car but that's just me. Some car manufactures with sensitive air flow meters recommend against this replacement type filter fearing oil from the filter may contaminate the air flow meter wire.

    Heck yea. I did that 50k miles ago and it was a great mod. It runs so much better and there has been no down side. The K&N keeps all the bad stuff out with regular maintenance. Glad I did it.
