THANKS FOR THE HELP.... I NOTICED HONDA HAS GONE TO A STEEL TIMING CHAIN IN 2013. MANY OF THE OLDER REAR WHEEL DRIVE GM V8 CARS AND SOME V6'S, YOU COULD USE A STEEL TIMING CHAIN. I PUT ONE IN A 1987 OLDS 98 REGENCY WITH A V6 AND ALSO IN A 1969 PONTIAC BONNEVILLE(IT MAY HAVE COME WITH ONE ORIGINALLY). I KNOW THE STEEL TIMING CHAINS ARE A LITTLE NOISER, BUT LAST MUCH LONGER. I AM SURE MY 1962 CHEV S/S IMPALA WITH A 409 CU.WITH DUAL QUADS 425HP ENGINE HAD ONE AND MY 1960 CHEV IMPALA 348 CU.IN. ENGINE 335 HP... I HOPE THEY GO BACK TO STEEL TIMING CHAINS... OH FOR THE GOOD OLD DAYS WHEN I USE TO RUN SUPER STOCK WITH MICKEY THOMPSON AT LIONS DRAG STIP IN LONG BEACH... THANKS...

For about $45G , ship it to me and I'll even put a blower on it!(DYSON-Iuse quality parts!).As for them going back to chains in some models , they are not without there 'new' problems from all the other added controls (electronically controlled valve timing in cam gears , hydraulic tensioner problems etc.)..........Stick with the belt -it's quite precise.............yeah , I know........... it's still not a big-block.
