Question: Can I change the water pump on a 95 Prizm without changing the timing belt?

car died- belts came off wobbling waterpump pulley and it overheated.
starts fine

    yes, you can but why wouldnt you change it?? you are right there and if you dont, you will have to change it later. makes perfect sense to do it now especially if it is contaminated with coolant.
