I have a new 2010 Clubman (Works Edition)and the clutch seems to need adjusting. It's a 6 speed manual with 5K miles. I can't afford the lost time in putting it in the shop if it's something I can do relatively easily.

2010 Mini Cooper S Clubman Question: Can I adjust the clutch myself?

Your Mini should not need a clutch adjustment at this stage, I would have the Dealer look at it under warranty, ask for a loaner!! or they usually have cheap 1 day rentals.

I was wondering what your problem was exactly. I just bought a 2010 Clubman about 3 months ago and I continue to hear this clicking noise when I shift. It doesn't happen all the time, but enough that it annoys me. I've brought it in twice now and they say it is the way I'm driving it -- not giving it enough gas. I'm trying to give it more gas, but there are still times when I hear this noise. Also, one time when the vehicle was parked I heard this loud clunking noise coming from the engine. They told me that the engine was readjusting itself due to when I shifted wrong it was lifting the engine.
For some reason, I'm just not confident that there's not a malfunction in the clutch.
I look forward to hearing what your specific problem was and if you have any advice for me.
Thank you so much,

The mini clubman i have from 2009 has an automatically adjusting clutch. So you should notice the engagement point change a little but not alot.
