can I add transmission fluid if it is low on 2003 Jaguar S-Type

Can I add Transmission fliud to my car if it is low or does a mechanic have to do it

I believe your transmission has a fill hole on the side that requires fluid to be injected into it using a special adapter. This is also how the fluid gets inspected. I would recommend seeing a trusted mechanic.

Transmission is a sealed unit for at least 100,000 miles. Any problems take to transmission shop, but generally will last. Filter is an integral part of the oil pan.
