can a evep leak becomming from the erg switch/vavle on the intake on 1997 Ford F-150

Had someone replace the upper & lower intake gasket recently and soon after that we had a code 0455. we replaced gas cap. we replaced the vavle closed the the evap cannister A large leak, missing hose, we have run a evap test once is there a part by the EGR Valve that we can replace we also lost the cruise before we replaced the intake gaskets. can it also be the same control, control that?

have a smoke test done to find vac leak. to answer your ? yes any vac leak could cause that code

You need to find that vacuum leak, and yes, if vacuum has a leak...all components depending on that vacuum will have issues.
