Can a cracked exhaust pipe be repaired at a low cost on 2002 Chrysler Sebring

I have an exhaust pipe that cracked, it is a clean straight cut right through the pipe. it is right before a clamp that attaches to the frame, the clamp is presently not attached.

the exhaust system its self is in ok condition, pipe have some rust, but no rot. can this be repaired at a reasonable price??

I do not have a lot of money to spend right now on a new exhaust system. I have fairly new shocks, brakes, timing belt and new tires, all under 12,000 miles. the car just turned 90,000. not sure if I should put more money into it.

Should I go to a muffler shop or can an auto shop be able to fix this?

it would be best to go to a muffler shop to see if they can repair it but I would also check the cost of a new pipe sometmes it is cheaper to replace it than it is to repair it .
