CHECK ENG LITE COMES ON checked codes and comes up with cam position accuator b bank 1 timing over advance also has other code that reads over retard

    Could be several issues. The next step is to verify the oil pressure is OK and the cam/crankshaft timing is set correctly. Make sure the camshaft actuator wiring and connector are OK and that the software in the ECM is up to date. If all that is OK, then it may need a new actuator.
    I suggest having a Volvo shop check this out, they will have the most experience with this issue.
