I have a 2001 accord LX and would like to know if I can replace the cabin air filter myself. It looks like the glove box may need to come off to access the filter and not sure how to do this. Can anyone provide detailed description of how to access and replace the cabin air filter? Thank-you.

Even though the owners manual says to have your local dealer replace it you should be able to do it yourself. They are usually located behind the glove box. You have to remove the glove box to access it.

Thanks for the info, can you explain how the glove box is removed? Once removed and the cabin filter is accessible, how do you remove/replace it?
