C & S Auto Repair
March 22, 2010

I was referred to C & S by Firestone to fix a wiring problem in the harness of my car. I tried to explain that when you hook it up to diagnostics it always says O2 sensor issues, even though they were brand new. Refused to listen to me. Wanted me to spend $140 replacing brand new 02 sensor. When I explained that Firestone had moved the harness and the light went off, and that it wasn't an O2 issue, I was completely ignored.

Better yet, I overheard one of the people that works in the office saying that he friend told her that the codes can be incorrect. To that the man turned around and shushed her.

I was also told that my O2 sensors might be wired wrong. My O2 sensors aren't wired. They screw in. I was told I might have gotten the wrong O2 sensor. If that were the case, I would have bought 2 wrong O2 sensors.

I would never go back there again. They don't listen to the customer. And something shady is going on, for an employee to hush another because they say the code can be wrong. Which is what I tried to explain to the guy in the first place.

Now had I of done what they wanted I would have paid $140 for a new O2 sensor I didn't need on top of the cost for the harness wire to be repaired when the O2 didn't fix the issue.

I went straight to the dealer who was more than willing to listen to my issue and take care of the actual problem. Without charging me excess amounts of money.
