Question: burning smell

 Rookie

I have a stick shift, and when I drive on the freeway and I speed sometimes when I stop there is this fowl odor like the cv boot might be to hot or something. What do you think it may be?

  You'll have to look under the vehicle and see if there is any oil leaking onto the exhaust, or grease from the CV boots are torn, and look for anything stuck to the catalytic converters.
