1996 Dodge Caravan Question: burning oil

burning oil quickly, no drip spots when parked..lots of oil down by the pullys & belts. van is at 178,000 miles. top of engine has some oil like its leaking. -

If you have never changed the valve cover gaskets I would inspect them first. The rear one is hard to see and there is more involved with changing it, but I have changed alot of them on those engines -

this is jpoot....yeah that is what the jiffy lube guy guessed...where are you located? are you near Salem, OR? my belt has also been squeaking in the morning on start up and looks like oil is getting on the pullys. thanks Janet -
