People have wrapped floss around the bulb, zip tie around the bulb, and so many more but it seems using a pair of needle nose pliers is the best used for good results. Be careful not to break the bulb. If this does happen you have a second chance by grabbing the filament or wires inside the glass. Be sure to unplug the mirror or close the doors so you dont short it out and blow the fuse.
