RepairPal Expert Overview:

Defective welds in the left lower seat frame of the vehicle's third row can result in a lack of structural integrity of the seat. This can result in occupant injury in a crash. Dealers will inspect and replace as necessary the left lower third row seat frame free of charge to resolve the concern.

RepairPal Expert Overview:

Engine oil can leak onto the exhaust manifold, causing a fire hazard. This concern was addressed in previous recall notifications, but improvements to the repair have been made. Dealers will make improved repairs free of charge to resolve the concern.

RepairPal Expert Overview:

The front seat mounted side air bag inflators may rupture and spread metallic debris through the passenger compartment, possibly causing occupant injury or death. Dealers will replace the side impact air bag modules free of charge to resolve the concern.

The windshield wiper motor may overheat and stop working, and cause a fire hazard. Dealers will replace the wiper motor cover assembly free of charge to resolve the concern. Owners are advised to not use the windshield wipers until the cover has been replaced.

The driver's door power window switch module may get contaminated with liquids causing a fire hazard. Dealers will replace the driver's door switch module free of charge to resolve the concern.

The headlights and daytime running lights may fail to operate. Dealers will replace the headlamp driver module free of charge to resolve the concern.

The power liftgate may fall suddenly from the open position due to the failure of the struts that support it when open. Dealers will update the software for the liftgate actuator motor control unit to prevent rapid closing of the liftgate free of charge to resolve the problem.

Engine oil may leak from the valve cover area, which can cause a burning odor and increase risk of fire. Dealers will replace the spark plug wire retainer to redirect the dripping oil on affected vehicles, and will replace the left valve cover gasket on vehicles with the 3.8L V6 supercharged engine.

The tire placards on the vehicle do not list proper wheel rim size. General Motors will send owners of affected vehicles a corrected label free of charge, and the owner can install on their own or seek dealers assistance for installation.

The electric power steering system may fail, due to the steering column housing contacting and wearing on the power steering printed circuit board. Dealers will inspect and replace the steering column as necessary free of charge to resolve the concern.
