Buick Enclave Recall 12V151000
Windshield Wipers May Fail
Vehicles registered in certain states where heavy snow is prevalent are being recalled because the windshield wiper arm retaining nut may loosen, resulting in the wiper becoming inoperative.
General Motors will notify owners of affected vehicles beginning April 16, 2012. If you are experiencing problems with the windshield wipers, or you don't receive notification and you feel you should have, please contact your dealer. It’s helpful to have your vehicle identification number (VIN) handy when you call.
Snow or ice buildup on the windshield or on the wiper restricts the movement of the wiper arm. The wiper arm may loosen and cause the wiper to become inoperative. If this occurs, driver visibility could be reduced, increasing the risk of a crash. Dealers will tighten the wiper arm nuts to correct this concern. The General Motors recall number is 12036.
