Makes We Serve
'OUTSTANDING' KNOWLEDGEABLE' etc..and most of all understood my needs. You have an Excellent, Friendly Staff, especially the front desk. Melissa Brunson. Thanks a Million!
They were very kind and helpful!
I love your garage!
I am happy with the work done on my old car. I think the price was just a little high but so far so good. Would I go back? Yes. Thank you Bud Adams and to your staff. The ladies in the office are very nice.
2 Thumbs Up!
Welcoming and friendly staff.
He had a hard time understanding we wanted to keep our car. But his work and knowledge was great.
Great service; not sure how the prices compare to other shops.
Very honest and appreciated the upfront diagnostic and work performed
Knowledgeable and efficient
1st time, Great!
They forgot to put my battery's positive cover back..
My overall experience was good, but I feel the service was overpriced. I paid $150 for the labor to fix a headlight socket that only took less than 30 minutes to replace. I'm just being honest.
Thank you for letting us serve you.
Bill Adams and Becky at the front desk helped and coordinated all the work and repairs done on my mom's car. They were prompt, professional and very communicative. I will certainly go back to them in the future.
Thanks for letting us serve you!
Very friendly professional service.
Thanks Felix. We look forward to serving you in the future and getting a 5 star out of you!
Battery replacement. Fast and efficient service.
Great place to go. Easy, honest, competent. They couldn't do a certain adjustment due to not having the new specs for my car so they gave their best shot and didn't charge for the extra work. Going there tomorrow again with my wife's car. Thx Becky :)
Thanks Dennis. Merry Christmas!
The crew did an excellent job of communicating the scope and expected timelines.
Friendly and professional service.
Very expensive for the facilities offered
You had an alignment on a SAAB for 75.00 and a service with synthetic oil for 85.00. What facilities were expensive and compared to what? I provide professional services even for a SAAB at very competitive prices. Please help me understand your comments if you have time.
Good customer service.
I was pleased the work performed I think the 150 dollar charge for diagnosing the problem should much less if the customer has the work done.
Diagnosing a vehicle is much like a doctor's visit. Having to figure out what is wrong is critical to solving the problem and that is where the expense lies. There are generally two steps for the typical diagnostic service and repair. First we have to ascertain what the problem actually is on the vehicle. This involves an interview with you, testing of the vehicle by our ASE Master Technicians with very expensive diagnostic equipment. After the diagnosis is made, we estimate the repair that is required and present it to you for repair. We provide you the opportunity to make an informed buying decision that we back up with a 2 year 24,000 mile warranty which is the best in town.
I do not"Bury" my diagnostic fees in the cost of the repair, but attempt to be transparent in showing what you are paying for.
There are many instances where a diagnostic fee is reduced or even eliminated depending on the nature of the failure and repair. Your 1999 Jeep with a driveability issue was not a quick or obvious repair, but we are confident that your issue has been resolved.
Please feel free to contact me at your earliest opportunity.
They are friendly and helpful without being pushy. They are always honest and done on time.
thank you good job!!!!
Oil change and front suspension inspection. No damage, advised to get an alignment.
Good job, thanks.
Glad to find this alternative to dealer shops. Work is great, price is better.
Bud Adams Auto Repair shares the condition of your vehicle without any sugar coating, and it's all with safety in mind. They DO NOT want you to be THAT person on the side of the road so be sure to listen and consider what they share with you about your vehicle.
good job and very nice employees
Skilled, fair and reliable. Great customer service. Quality work, though a bit on the pricey side.
I was pleased with the work Bud Adams Auto Repair did on my car, the rental car they covered, and the cost of the repair. Although no one likes to pay for car repairs, the final cost came in lower than the estimate. I was also pleased with their courtesy toward me.
Great local shop. Certainly will return.
Bill said his auto shop has great mechanics; I have an old car & a couple of dashboard lights come on here and there; Bill didn't see the lights come on & can't find anything wrong with my mobile; if there's nothing wrong, then why do the dashboard lights come on?
When I called to arrange and appointment for my mom's car, I was treated with great customer service and detailed explanation of what the car needed, what was recommended. It was a pleasant experience and really brought confidence in the service being provided
Courteous, professional service.
The young lady and the owner were very nice and professional they explained everything very well I would definitely go there again.
Friendly fast and efficient service
Bud Adams guys replaced the door handles and lock system on my explorer so we could leave on vacation. So happy with their performance!
Heard about these guys on the radio 1100 am. Decided to drive up to Castro Valley to see what they provide. They are very knowledgeable. Fair pricing. Done at a reasonable time. Shows you all the tidbits of what was done and what needs to be done if anything. Much appreciated.
Friendly; complete explanations. Provided pick-up and deliver service.
Did diagnostic but declined service because it was too expensive.
Pleasant to deal with, timely and explained clearly what had been done to fix the issue with my car
Misdiagnosis: I brought my 1993 Ford Ranger in for over-heating, and suggested to the service writer and mechanic I suspect the Thermostat is bad, because one of the radiator hoses was cool to the touch, thermostat wasn't opening and closing. Service writer and Mechanic suggested to test cooling system to assure it was the thermostat and not something else. I agreed to have the system tested. After the system was tested, their results: no leaks other than a small leak at the pressure cap, exhaust tested good, (which in my mind means head gasket is good) and mechanic claims thermostat was working properly, but truck was still overheating on test drive. Mechanics conclusion - I must have a cracked head gasket due to the age 1993 Ford Ranger and mileage 175,600 miles. Mechanic suggested to replace the Engine, he said he can find an engine for this model easily.....I told him there was no-way I was going to replace engine for such an old truck. At the end of the day I told him to Replace the Thermostat anyway, because I was sure that was the problem!.......Next day thermostat was changed, and lo and behold, that was the fix, my truck no longer over-heats. After enduring all the stress of hearing my head gasket is cracked and I need to replace my engine, but in my mind I was thinking I would need to buy a new vehicle (something I couldn't afford at this time). After the misdiagnosed test and the thermostat changed on my request, I ended up paying over 200 dollars , for something I already knew what the fix was in the first place......... Thank goodness it was just the thermostat. The Mechanic apologized and Staff was friendly, but I will not be coming back!
I understand your stress, please let me help you understand the process of diagnosis and repair.
Your vehicle was presented with no coolant in it, and testing was inconclusive. We gave you the opportunity to change the thermostat without knowing if there would be additional work required up to replacement of the engine which would have cost more than the vehicle was worth.
I am glad to know you vehicle is running well and wish to offer you a
FREE OIL CHANGE and MINOR SERVICE for your troubles.
Extremely helpful and friendly staff, prompt attention to my car. Highly recommend!
Excellent service, honest and the people are great
Could not have been a better experience, they do good work and are very pleasant to do business with.
Pleasant and cognizant of my needs. Made recommendations on the workflow strategy to take and to inform me of findings before proceeding to the next operation.
Courteous staff, fast service, complete diagnostic review with pricing for items to be done in the future. Excellent!
I waited,work done in a timely manner.
Great neighborhood shop, easy in easy out, quick and fair prices.
Personable and efficient.
They did a good job but the price was way too high.
They were very honest, thorough and reasonable.
Personable, honest and helpful.
Had my truck inspected for a steering noise. I received a verbal quote for Bill Adams for $1500.00 but could not get a written quote after several attempts. I took my truck to another shop and got a quote for $700.00. So, I had the other shop make the repairs and truck is working great.
I am a happy customer.
I have a good relationship with them.
Excellent, speedy service and great knowledge.
They are close by, very friendly and I don't feel like I'm getting ripped off.
Service at a fair price - the workers exhibit integrity and friendliness.
They are always professional, thorough and friendly.
Great service and they kept me informed of the process.
Service was provided as requested, on time and for the price quoted.
The staff is friendly, efficient, and takes time to explain the services.
Good and dependable service.
Work quality is excellent; prices are fair.
Everyone was friendly and they took care of us quickly.
Friendly competent service.
I still learning your shop, and hoping my trust isn't missed place.
I trust the work at this shop and I'm charge at a reasonable rate!
I trust Bill and his team with my car and its diagnosis and appreciate the customer service at the shop. I just wish they were open later on Saturdays :)
Excellent customer service, quality & timely service provided.
Bud's is always reliable and available and reasonable, not to mention friendly and nearby. Couldn't ask for more.
I like the helpfulness and friendliness of staff, quality of repair work; explanation of work needed and costs; it was expensive but I think that is just expected to do auto repair.
The staff was efficient and performed the 2 tasks I needed on my Explorer. Work was done in one day and has been working as it should.
They were honest and provided a high level of customer service.
I have gone to a few shops in the past. An I have gotten poor service. I would have the same problem when leaving the auto shop it would be wasted money. Not like Bud Adams. I know with Bud Adams I can sleep better at night cause they fix the problems.
Bud Adams is an excellent auto repair shop. Office staff are very knowledgeable and mechanics know their business.
Nice people but attention to details sometimes lacking.
Awesome service and my car runs great now!
I was hoping they would resolve my other issue.
Bill was very honest with me. Told me what he was doing and the main thing was that he wasn't will to charge me for small items and repairs I didn't need. He simply told me the car was fine, nothing needs to be done.
Always straight up, and great service.
Longtime relationship which has developed confidence in the quality and timeliness of the repairs, plus trust in the individuals behind them.
Very nice group of people! Good mechanics.
They provided an honest assessment of my car's needs.
Very prompt, good and generous.
Friendly people, great service, timely repair.
Outstanding service at a fair and honest price.
I can TRUST them to do right by me as a woman and take good care of my vehicles.
They are simply the best!
Under budget and friendly staff.
They are honest and it's good work.
The best work and most honest diagnostics.
They know what they are talking about and they make things simple so it is understandable.
They performed service as requested, provided good communication, and fixed issue that other shop did not find.
Great service, timely, trustworthy.
Good service with a personal touch. Explanations that are easy to understand and make sense.
Friendly, reliable, and they always go the extra mile (forgive the pun).
I felt that you should have applied the diagnostic charge towards the repair cost.
Excellent diagnostics and service. Friendly and helpful staff.
Excellent mechanical and customer service.
Great service great pricing.
The service was fine, however, when I picked up my truck, there was a door ding on it.
They are friendly and they know their stuff. They know what they are talking about. I would take my car to place I can trust.
Great service. Truck runs like it was brand new.
Service is done well and in a timely manner for a fair price.
They knew that I had to wait for my car and they were fast and very thorough.
The prices that Bud quoted us were exorbitantly high, so we got a 2nd opinion from another local repair shop. The other mechanic told us that two of the fixes recommended by Bud were necessary were NOT, and the other mechanic's prices were nearly half that of Bud's.
We stand by any recommendation made and our prices are commensurate with professional automotive repair in the bay area. Please feel free to give me a call, as I always like to find out why someone is not happy with my services.
They are very nice. They fix my car well, they are honest and they get the work done quickly. They are available on Saturdays, they are fair people that charge fair prices.
They were good and they were friendly. They were fast and they did what they said they were going to.
They did a great job! On time!
They do an excellent job. They fixed the car first time around. Their customer service is nice. They answer the phones, call you back, and they smile.
I like everything about them and there isn't anything I can think of them needing to change.
They are very good with customer service. They also communicate your options regarding repair and maintenance very well.
They did a good service on my cars and truck. It's just a good service. They're nice people. They always treat me nice.
8 is pretty high in my opinion. When I bring in my truck it is about 3 or 4 days that they have it, not a 2 to 3 day turn around.
I trust them. They have done me well price wise. They haven't ripped me off or lied to me. They have answered all of my questions and have done good work.
They were extremely through in everything in the repair process. They were thoughtful and treated us well in keeping us updated. Excellent customer service!
We always get good service from caring people. It is a friendly business and the people servicing our car have the expertise to keep my car running.
Satisfied with service and customer service.
They do good service, and they know what they are talking about.
Good service and nice people.
Honest people. They don't try to cheat you. They give you a quote, if it goes under that quote then it is what you get. I like the people. They're great people.
They perform their service to the expectations of the customer, they are conveniently located and I feel that they provide friendly, personable and local services.
The work they do and the way they do it. They are very efficient. When I bring my car in they tell me if they find something else. They are very thorough. The quality of the work is fantastic. I have never had a problem with anything that they have done for me.
I am a single person and it is very important to me to have people I can trust when I have car problems. At Bud Adams they are honest and they don't try to talk you into something that isn't necessary. That means a lot to me. People I can believe in.
I have been taking my cars there for the last few years and I am very satisfied with his work. My cars are running. He just seems to work with us. He sent of the ladies in the office to get the carseat for us. He does little things for us. He also has enterprise rentals available.
We feel they are competent and trustworthy!
Very professional, and good listeners. Much less expensive than the dealer, too!
