Question: Broken window clip on track inside rear door.

My rear passenger window fell in the well yesterday. When I took the panel off I realized the little plastic clip which holds it had broken and the motor makes no nose at all when I press the button. What cost am I looking at if I take it to a repair shop and can I repair i myself. I have a 4dr 1999 Saab 9'3.

    Hi, did you have to replace the whol regulator and the motor to fix this problem?

    I have not gotten it fixed yet but I am going to have to replace the whole unit. Its called a window regulator. I found the part used for $175. The repair shop wanted $380 plus installation. I am going to buy the part used and have a garage put it in. I was told it only takes about an hour. Also, I believe the motor is part of the regulator unit.
