break hose replacement on 2005 Hyundai Accent

Pep Boys said that the break hose has to be replaced, along with the rotors and break pads. Does this sound right? The car has only 43,000 miles.

If they inspected the brake system and the brake lines have cracks in them then they would need replacement also

it could, depending on your driving habits and how heavy the traffic is that you drive in every day, the more you stop and go, and the more you apply brakes at the last moment to reduce higher sppeds quicker, the greater the wear and damage on the brake system. Normally, the rotors should last 50,000 miles brake pads about 15,000- 20,000 and if cared for properly brake hoses should last at least 100,000.
