MasterCheck Stability System means the computer in your car sees a problem with the Traction Control System. To retrieve codes stored in the computer in your car you need to attach a scan tool to the same diagnostic socket as engine trouble codes are read from. As for brake pads I like Wagner Thermoquite brake pads for a reasonably priced good brake pad.
