I just put on new brakes and brake lines. When Im coming to a stop my car makes a scrapeing or grinding noise. I dont know what it could , possibly the roters? If so how much is it to fix? Or can i fix it myself? Also when my gas tank is less than half, whenever i make a right turn my car shuts off..what could be the reason?

When you say you replaced the brakes, did you replace the rotors? Did you resurface the rotors? If neither, then that's where I would start looking. New pads on out of round rotors will make a bunch of noise and may not break in properly.

Perhaps to be safe, a good brake inspection by a tech is in order.

Also check your pads for proper installation of shims and any anti-rattle clips. If they are on backwards they will scrape.
