Brakes and Rotors on 2006 BMW 530xi

Is it custom to replace rotors and brakes on bmws no matter what?

It is. BMWs use high-performance brake materials, which means that they are relatively soft and are generally not "turned". It is common to replace them, which is one of the reasons why it's expensive to drive a BMW. This is covered under their maintenance warranty, if you still have it.

just had new sensor and new pads and rotors cleaned a couple of days ago. Had new rotors on rear two weeks ago. Still a slight squeaking noise..any ideas if this will go away in time? thanks
But BMW speciality shop claims this means I also need rotors which they estimate at 780.00 for repairs. Is this true? Do you have to replace rotars whenever replacing pads?
