My brakes were hard to press sometimes, then they locked up on me and when I would accelerate I would only go like 10 miles per hour if I let go of the gas I would slame on brakes smoke came from the two front tires, then the next day it didnt do it again and it is still sitting at the reapir shop because they cant figure it out . it could be a 4 cylnder but I think it is 6 we are staioned in Bamerg germany and The mechanics on post have it I am taking it off post on Tuesday but if you have any suggestions of what it may be I would like to hear it.

    Maybe someone put oil in your brake fluid reservoir, Your vehicle calls for dot-3 brake fluid.

    NO actually Hyundai said that my Brake cylinder is broken.

    Napa Auto Parts has those brake master cylinders # TS 112993 with antilock brakes $204 or # TS 112990 without antilock brakes $82 http://www.napaonline.com/MasterPages/NOLMaster.aspx?Page... you can order it online

    i think i can have comtaminated oil as well. I did use Dollar store fluid before my trouble began. I also have the brakk lock up problem and nobody mentioned any problems with the master cylinder
