brakes on 2004 Ford F-150

just put front brakes in and the rotors get hot to hot to touch,i jacked up the truck and the tire spins ok is this normal.i drove about ten miles with frequent stops

Friction causes heat especially when the pads are new and are breaking in to the rotors

all brake rotors will get hot after driving if its excessive heat smell or smoking then a caliper may be sticking but what u describe seems to be normal
