brakes on 2009 Toyota Corolla

my friend owns this, and just called me asking what would make the rear wheels hop, even at low speeds...even on snow...when the brakes are applied...any ideas? thanks!

If this happens only when braking, then this is likely from the rear brake rotors being warped. This may be covered under the Toyota warranty, but your friend will need to check with the Dealer to verify that.
