2002 Mazda Protege Q&A
2002 Mazda Protege Question: brakes
Remove the Phillips headed screw, this can be difficult , I've had to use penetrating oil, smack it with a hammer and punch to get it unfrozen, then using a lot of force, get it unscrewed. Once it's out, use a 8mmx1.25mm bolt in the other screwhole in the drum to force the drum off. You may need to tap the drum with a mallet while doing this to keep it from getting cocked on the bearing hub. don't bend the drum mounting area, causes problems later.. - Superbob
