2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Q&A

2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Question: Brakes

I have owned this jeep for apx a year. Several months ago I flushed the break system { not the anti lock }. Shortly after that I started getting moderate to harsh peddle pulsations on moderate to heavy breaking? as if rotors are warped ect. Thanks for Your Help -

I will send you an article I wrote about brake vibration. I would have the brake rotors checked to see they are true and parallel. Contamination on the brake rotor (grease or oil ) can cause a vibration as too can worn suspension bushings, loose wheel bearings or worn ball joints. In either case some investigation is needed to determine the cause of your brake pulsation. It may require replacement of the rotors. -
