WHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN THE DASH BOARD SAYS CHECK BRAKE LININGS?

  Hello I have a 1986 bmw 325es and when that brake linings light came on I changed the front brakes and the light went off. I seem to belive the the light lets you know when the brake pads are low. If you change the brakes yourself you will find a sensor in the brake pad on the driver side.

• Vibrating when step on brakes.
