Question: brake wear problems

replaced rotors and pads brake drag and over heating after 5 miles of driving. pedal stops vehicle then releases and stops. prevous rotors and pads replaced 3000 miles ago. front pads destroyed, rotors scored. current roters are drilled and slotted with ceramic pads.

    Sounds like a classic case of sticking brake calipers. The problem with the calipers is that the pistons get stuck and won't retract, therefore not releasing the brakes completely. This is a common problem and you would need to replace the calipers to correct this. In your case, it sounds pretty bad and you better fix this right away because losing brake function is a safety issue.http://repairpal.com/estimator?car_type_id=3144
