1997 Ford Mustang Question: brake rotor
Do you mean the ventilated brake rotors are rusting in the center ventilation area or are the discs rusting on the in board side of the brake rotor? The brake pads "clean the rotors" as the brakes are applied. The center vent slots will have surface rust in the center any way. Normal brake application should keep the rotors clean. - patrick mannion

when removing the old rear brake pads they were very hard to remove and there were clips attached to the top and bottom of the old pads. when installing the new pads with the clips attached the pad...

can i replace just that or do i need the whole calaper and how do i do that
...V-6, automatic, 140000 miles. All maintenance done at dealer over last 9 years including new brake rotors/pads, starter, tie-rods, and starter. Car is spotless. Any opinions?
